A Mentor Manifesto -- added topics

A Mentor is a person with a passion to inspire people on his area of expertise…or in his personal abilities and fact based experiences..

?* It is very important to have a methodology to stand for.. at least to organize the ideas and the work to be done at beginning .... of course do not be a slave of it use it as a guideline .. It is important do not lose the contents and the momentuns that will prompt up as the interaction with the mentee grows..
?* Definitively be honest on what you do know and what you don´t… speak clearly if do not know. Guesses are welcome based on experience.. but that´s about it….
?* Conquer confidence to establish a trustable relationship environment .. it is always a two way communication and experience exchange..
?* Be ready to change a generic focus approach from the beginning to specifics that your mentee is anxious for.... be sensitive to mentee´s needs and expectations..
?* Provide alternatives and open space for wide views to expand existing mindset..
?* Set up expectations and time frames…. discuss what will and will not be the done.. of course flexibility is highly recommended....
?* All is OK.. to start….focus is desired as the process evolves.. to maximize results..
?* Like and be self motivated for all projects engaged at beginning even though some of them will not fly easily or not at all .. as will be concluded during the mentoring process..
?* Be frank ..speak straight .. at the right moment even if it hearts..
?* Handle well the decisions taken by the mentee even though wouldn´t be the one you will take ..
?* Most of the times the discussions among the mentor and mentee won´t be a matter of right or wrong... mostly will be there is a worth won it ??

?Be ready for the hidden phases of a mentoring process…the enthusiasm and mutual discovery of talents and opportunities to contribution.. the focus on agreed selected and prioritized items … the alternatives and roads to be taken.. the actions to be accomplished to prove and verify the approach discussed and coming back to adjustments (Lean) .. mastering initial results…opens new priorities.. recycle the process again..
